Understandably I know there is a lot of concern regarding the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) so the team and I want to provide some reassuring information.
The spread of the COVID-19 virus has been unprecedented across the world. It is now recognised as a Pandemic and expected to be in society for some months to come. The Open Door team will continue to provide excellent customer service & support with our “day to day” business activities however how we do this may change with Government advice.
My priority is to protect customers & colleagues, ensuring the team and I follow public health advice on hand washing and if required, self-isolating should any colleagues display symptoms of COVID-19. Please be reassured that the team continues to do everything they can to minimise the risk when meeting with customers or instructing our contractors to attend your home.
When arranging a meeting, viewing or repair, the team will implement the latest government guidelines and ask you the following questions:
– Have you or anyone in your household been diagnosed with Coronavirus (COVID-19)?
– Are you or anybody in your household self-isolating?
– Do you or anyone in your household have any flu-like symptoms, high temperature and or a new sustained dry cough?
– Do you have any other concerns or reasons as to why we should not meet with you or a contractor attend your home?
The situation is continually evolving, we will review and act on Government advice daily. This may result in operational changes that will be communicated via our web-site and social media channels.
